We are currently inviting applications for a Business Development Executive to join our busy team here at Rockingham. Initially Maternity cover only, for a successful candidate, this role has the opportunity to become a permanent position.

Reporting to our Head of Sales & Marketing, the primary purpose of this role is to drive new business sales for Rockingham as a venue, event hospitality and corporate driving experiences.

You will need to have a professional approach and confident ability to open doors and reach new markets, be tenacious and driven to achieve targets and able to convey a value proposition clearly, accurately and concisely in both verbal and written communications.

The successful candidate will likely be in the early stages of their career having gained two-three years’ experience in a similar role.  It’s worth noting that whilst this is initially for maternity leave cover, there is an opportunity to make this a permanent role.

Salary range is £20,000-£22,000 per annum (pro rata) plus uncapped commission.

We are currently inviting applications for a Facilities Operations Manager to join our busy team here at Rockingham.

Reporting to the CEO, the primary purpose of this senior management role is to manage the facilities and infrastructure at our multi-purpose venue.

This includes leading projects, managing contractors, supervising a team of site maintenance and event set up operatives and proactively ensuring all tasks are carried out in an efficient manner in line with safe systems of work and Health & Safety procedures.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of Health and Safety (NEBOSH Qualification preferred), facilities management, leading a team, contract management, writing specifications and tendering documents, an eye for detail, a good understanding of wireless networking and have a flexible approach.
