Second Sixth Place Finish in Belgium for Rockingham's Head of Operations 14. juni 2010

Rockingham's Head of Operations Cat Lund and partner Andy Rowe were on top form once again on Saturday's (June 12) 12 Hours of Wervik Rally in Flanders.
The event, which runs close to the town of Ypres, was used as a shakedown by many of the top Belgian crews for the Geko Ypres International Rally, the next round of IRC.
Hull-based driver Rowe held his own against the S2000 and WRC cars to finish sixth overall in his Lancer Evo 3, setting top ten times on every stage.
He was very happy with his pace: "As we get more experience in Belgium we are making the notes work harder for us and we're more committed on the stages."
The pair have now won both the Flanders International Rally Challenge rounds with three rounds left to go. The next round of the FIRC is the Short Rally Oudenberg on July 17/18, but work commitments for co-driver Lund at the Rockingham British F3/GT meeting may mean the crew have to miss that round.
If anyone wants to catch the pair in action on British soil, they have also entered the Evo in the Jane Cowling Memorial Rally at Twyford Wood on Sunday 27 June.
